BIO:

Steve Ferguson has over 30 years as a PGA professional as well as a club and putter fitting specialist for Henry-Griffitts. Prior to teaching at Briarwood, he was Director of Instruction of all the Robert Trent Jones Trail Clubs in the state of Alabama. Steve has taught at such notable clubs in his career such as New Orleans Country Club, Marietta Golf Center, Cherokee Town, and Country Club in Atlanta as well as The Legends at Chatequ Elan which hosted the Sarazen World Open for 5 years. During the course of his career he has had the opportunity to work with PGA, Champions, and Web.Com tour professionals. The majority of his teaching has been devoted to all levels of golfers.

We are blessed to have Steve now teaching at Briarwood Golf Club. Ferguson specializes in working toward a very specific and individualized plan of instruction for each golfer to develop a better understanding of the golf swing, movement of the body, and trajectory, focused on practice and long-term improvement in scoring.
